I just wanted to thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I am healing very nicely from my hip surgery. The new family who adopted me are great! I have a big yard to play in with plenty of toys inside and out. They have a really soft bed to sleep on, but I mostly prefer the floor where I can totally stretch out since I am so tall. I have a great friend up the block named Abbigayle. She is also a Golden Retriever and is really beautiful. I think I am in love with her. I have included a picture with her.
Abbi loves to go swimming, but I am still too afraid and am waiting for my mom and dad to jump in with me when the weather warms up. I love being walked every day. My mom and I like to walk in the rain. I enjoy seeing all the birds and cars and meeting new dogs along the way. I am very happy with my new home and I know my mom and dad are happy with me. I had a trainer come out a couple of times to help them understand me better. Things are really great now! Thank you GRCGLA for giving me a new start and a new life.
