Cooper Buckley

Like so many of the other stories I have read in Golden Tails, I was devastated when I lost my precious Striker just prior to age 11 years. After a few months I just could not tolerate a house without a Golden. It just wasn’t normal and it was so profoundly sad. I looked to Rescue and found Brent. He introduced me to a boy who seemed to want me (Ernie in the Rescue database, but whose ‘real’ name was Cooper). Brent said that when I went out to my car to get a leash, that he cried.

Coming up on 2 years now and even though he is always in a little too much of a hurry on our many walks, and he will never want to share his home with another dog, he is my best little buddy and he is good with people. Never one to say, ‘no’ to a tummy rub, either… yup, things are as they should be again and I am a huge fan of Rescue.
