What a lady! Meet Baylee, a charming 9-year-old Golden Retriever who recently joined us from a local shelter.

Don’t let her age fool you, she has plenty of energy. She is not a pocket Golden but this petite girl weighs just 47 pounds and could stand to gain a few healthy pounds. She seems to have stayed trim thanks to her constant tail wagging and happy spirit. While her past is a bit of a mystery, Baylee has clearly known love and guidance. She walks beautifully on leash, stopping right along with you, and already knows some basic commands—she may just need a quick refresher.

Baylee has the sweetest manners. She takes treats gently with a soft mouth and loves a good game of fetch, happily chasing a ball and dropping it right at your feet for more. Interestingly, other toys don’t seem to be her thing. But she’s always eager to engage with her people.

Bright, alert, and responsive, Baylee is a true sweetheart ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home. Could that be with you?
