Meet our handsome and dashing senior, Cooper!

At about 11 years young and 66 pounds, Cooper is as lovely as they come. Since arriving in rescue, he has been an absolute dream. Gentle, easygoing, and full of quiet charm, he’s the kind of dog who instantly makes a house feel like home.

Cooper already knows several commands (such a smart boy!) and happily accepts treats as payment for a job well done. He enjoys his daily walks and has a wonderful energy level for a gentleman his age — happy to stroll by your side and then relax when it’s time to unwind.

He’s being treated to a well-deserved spa day and dental cleaning, and then this sweet soul will be ready to head off to his forever home.

Cooper isn’t high maintenance. He doesn’t need marathons or constant entertainment. What he wants most is simple and beautiful — a big, soft bed, gentle pats on the head, belly rubs, and a loving person to share his days with.

This tender, loyal boy has so much love left to give and truly deserves the very best in his golden years. Could you be the one to give Cooper the retirement he’s been waiting for?

Update 2-13: We are happy to report that our boy has had his spa day and much needed dental and is now loving life in the very best of foster homes.  He is SO happy as you can see by that big smile.  More pictures and updates to follow as he settles in but so far he continues to be the best boy ever.
