Meet Holly!
Holly is a 6-year-old, 94-pound sweetheart who proudly identifies as a “big lapdog.” After spending most of her life having puppies and ultimately ending up in a shelter, her future is finally looking bright thanks to the kind volunteers at GRCGLA Rescue. She’s been given a much-needed bath, a soft place to land, and plenty of love—and she is soaking it all in!

Holly is the epitome of a classic golden: affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she can velcro herself to her person. Belly rubs, snuggles, and giving kisses are her specialties. She adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to you.

Because Holly likely spent most of her life in a backyard or kennel, the big outside world is both exciting and a little scary. Walks, cars, and new sights are still unfamiliar, so she’ll need a patient, reassuring family to help her build confidence at her own pace. When something spooks her, she’ll look to you for comfort—and may even try to climb into your lap or tuck herself between your legs!

Holly is a truly lovely, gentle girl with so much love to give. Now that her mommy days are behind her, she’s ready for a family who will show her what life as a cherished companion is all about.

Our sweet Holly is in a foster home with another pup and doing great!  She is proving herself to be Mary Puppins, Practically Perfect!  She loves to lay by your feet and go for walks.  She has had excellent house manners too.  She is just a delight!
