Say hello to Marley—our big, handsome boy with the sweet face and an even sweeter personality.

Marley recently found himself searching for a new home after a change in his family with the arrival of a baby. At 9 years old, he may have a silvered muzzle, but don’t be fooled—this boy has plenty of pep and enjoys life to the fullest.

Marley is playful and loves engaging other dogs and playing with his favorite toys. He’ll happily chase after a tossed toy, though he sometimes likes to keep you guessing about whether he’ll bring it back. He absolutely adores people and will gently place his paws on your lap just to be close—his favorite place is to be in front of you so you can lean down and rub his belly when he rolls on his side.

Marley gets excited and looks forward to his daily walks. He does well on community walks with friends and he ignores other dogs barking at him. We currently feel Marley would do best in a home without cats, or young children. He adores car rides, and displays curiosity about his surroundings.  While he enjoys relaxing in a fenced yard,  once he’s had his fill of fresh air, he’ll let you know he’s ready to come back inside to be with his people. After a good walk or fun play session, Marley settles in and rests like a total angel.
