Hi there, I’m Maverick!
I’m about a year and a half old (though my vet thinks I might be a little older) and I weigh 70 pounds. When the wonderful volunteers at GRCGLA Rescue first met me, I was pretty sad and shut down. But thanks to their love and care — and the company of my littermates — I’m feeling so much happier now!

I adore my siblings, Skippy and Brandy, and would love to be adopted with one of them if possible, since we’re such a close little trio. I just got neutered, and once I’m fully healed, I can’t wait for a nice bath so I can be extra handsome for my new family!

If you’re looking for a golden with a gentle, sensitive soul, then I might be your boy. All I need is love — because when you love me, I’ll love you right back with all my heart. 

We’ve spent a lot of time with Maverick and Skippy, and it’s clear they are incredibly bonded. We’re looking to place them together because they’ve been through so much and have formed such a special connection. They literally bump into each other, snuggle close, and bring smiles to everyone who sees them. They truly are best buddies.
