This is our heart stealer, Rico Suave!  He is 4 years old and weighs 50 pounds though he does need to put on a few more pounds.  If you were to look up Love Bug in the dictionary his picture would be right there.  He LOVES people and wants to velcro right onto you and have you give him lots of belly rubs and love.  He also know some basic commands.  He is a young, strong pup who is looking for a home with a yard to run around in and someone to take him on lots of walks and adventures.  Of course, as with any pup this age, Rico Suave would enjoy the mental stimulation and bonding that comes from a basic training class.  He is good with other dogs when introduced in a controlled environment.  For now, it would probably be best for him to be the only dog in the home until he settles in a bit.  Rico has been working with one of our very best volunteers who happens to be a dog trainer and they have been doing lots of fun things and training together.  Rico’s trainer will be at the adoption meeting and will be happy to talk to Rico’s new family to go over all of  his training and what he needs to be the best dog ever.

Our boy is doing amazing!  He has gotten very good on leash and loves his walks.  He is also good in a crate and has learned several commands.  He is blossoming into a lovely dog and is excited to be part of a forever family.
