This is our newest member to rescue, Roxy.  Roxy is about 4 years old and currently weighs 33 pounds though 40 pounds is her ideal weight.   A good samaritan saved her from a horrible home and got her life saving surgery for pyometra.  She cared for her as she recovered and fell in love with her.  She was unable to keep her so she asked if we could help Roxy out which of course we did!  

We know a lot about this sweetie as her life saver gave us lots of good information about her.  Roxy has a good temperament.  She lived in a home with cats, a big dog and a little dog and a small child.  She can be a bit shy when meeting new people but she is very friendly and loving with her trusted people.  She loves walks, stuffed animals, tennis balls and attention.  Big dogs make her a bit nervous so a home without other big pups would be best.  

Roxy is looking for a home that will help her learn that she will never again be neglected.  She needs a family to help her build her confidence and shower her with lots of love.  Roxy is very treat motivated and responds well to training, corrections and redirection.  Roxy deserves the very best of homes that will show her patience, support and most of all, love.
