Hi, my name is Skippy!
I’m about a year old, weigh 50 pounds, and I’m a very special boy. You might notice that my front leg looks a little different—but don’t worry, it doesn’t bother me one bit! It doesn’t slow me down at all. Just watch my video playing with my littermates — I can keep up with the best of them!

I’m full of energy, joy, and love, and I even have a signature move… the Skippy Hug!  Whoever adopts me will need to be ready for lots (and lots!) of love and TLC, because I thrive on it. There’s nothing special you need to do for my leg—like Lady Gaga says, I was Born This Way! 

We’ve spent a lot of time with Maverick and Skippy, and it’s clear they are incredibly bonded. We’re looking to place them together because they’ve been through so much and have formed such a special connection. They literally bump into each other, snuggle close, and bring smiles to everyone who sees them. They truly are best buddies.
