Meet our brave heroine, Stella. This incredible 6-year-old girl weighs 65 pounds, though she still needs to gain some weight as she continues her recovery. When a local shelter reached out for help, we didn’t hesitate. We knew her time was running out, and no other rescues had stepped forward. Stella needed a chance—and we were determined to give her one.

This is Stella’s Disney Princess story, though her journey began more like a nightmare. She was living as a stray on the streets when she was viciously attacked by several other dogs. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan intervened, stopping the attack and calling animal control, who rushed her to safety. Her injuries were severe, requiring immediate care at an emergency veterinary hospital.

After returning to the shelter, Stella faced yet another life-threatening challenge when she developed pneumonia, sending her back to the emergency hospital once again. We are beyond grateful to the shelter staff who cared for her so diligently—they didn’t just save her life once, but twice.

Now Stella is safely with us and continuing her recovery, and we are happy to report she is doing very well. She is getting stronger every day and slowly gaining the weight she so desperately needs.

What makes Stella truly extraordinary is her spirit. Despite everything she has endured, she still loves people. Even more remarkable—she is good with other dogs. That kind of resilience and kindness is something truly special.

With continued love and care, Stella is going to blossom into a stunning dog. Her coat will heal, her fur will grow back, and most importantly, her bright, beautiful spirit will only continue to shine.
