Sweet Sophie
2 yrs old, female

Meet Sweet Sophie 💕
This beautiful girl is Sophie, a 2-year-old rescue who has already endured so much in her short life. She was heartbreakingly abandoned at a shelter along with her puppies when her previous owners no longer wanted them. While all of her babies were quickly adopted, poor Sophie was left behind — and in terrible condition.
She came to us unable to bear weight on one of her back legs due to an injury. She was painfully thin at just 75 pounds, and her body was covered in fleas, ticks, superficial wounds, and infested with worms. It was clear she had been neglected for a long time.
But those dark days are now behind her.
Sophie is safe and sound at a phenomenal veterinary hospital, receiving top-notch care, nutritious meals, and all the love and attention she so deeply deserves. She’ll soon undergo surgery to repair her injured leg, and once she’s healed, she’ll be ready to find her forever home.
In the meantime, Sophie is soaking up every bit of affection — making up for lost time and charming everyone she meets. She’ll never go hungry or be left outside again. From here on out, it’s nothing but love, comfort, and the best life ever for Sweet Sophie. 🐾💖

UPDATE 6/23: We are happy to report that our Sweet Sophie’s living up to her name and ready to go to her forever home. Her leg surgery was a success and she is recovering beautifully. This pup really is like Mary Poppins, or should I say Mary Puppins, as she is practically perfect! She LOVES people and will velcro right onto you for pets and belly rubs. If you stop petting her she will paw for more. She is always smiling too. Not only is she great with people but she is fantastic with other dogs as well. We are so happy we saved this lovely girl. She deserves the best life ever!
