Say hello to Vegas. If you like big dogs, this 4 year-old is your dream come true. He weighed in at 94

lbs., but can easily shed 5-10 and look good. He came from a shelter where he shared a cage with a

husky mix. So, no dog reactivity with this guy. And he has indicated an interest in play with the few dogs

we saw on his walks. He likes people and was shuttling between 2 volunteers in the vet’s yard, seeking

to maximize his pets. The vet said he could examine Vegas everywhere, with no resistance, and he

checks out healthy. He takes treats gently.

Vegas likes to get out and walk. We thought he was going to be a strong puller, but after a few days he

walks like a perfect gentleman. He was probably a little confused, as he went from a home, to a shelter,

to Rescue. We don’t know his play habits yet, nor if he would prefer a yard to hang out, or remain

inside. The vet tech wished she could take him home. We have nick-named him “The Gentle Giant.” You

will be a winner if you place a bet on Vegas.
