Meet our beautiful lil pocket golden, Polly.  Polly weighs about 40 pounds and is 2 years old.  We rescued this little girl after being hit by a car and left in the streets to fend for herself.  One of her rear legs was fractured and the other had a dislocated hip and to top it off she had a few broken ribs.  She is now fully healed and has no restrictions or lasting implications from her injuries.

Polly has been in a loving foster home for some time while she recovered and is showing how wonderful her house manners are.  She ADORES her foster mom and enjoys snuggling with her on the couch and in bed.  Furniture privileges are a must in her forever home. She also had a playdate with another dog and all she wanted to do was play, play play!  Polly also does just fine when left alone while her foster mom is at work or running errands.  She will just hang out in the house and go to the yard when she wants to lay in the sun which is one of her favorite things.

Polly is a bit wary of new people which is to be expected after all she has gone through.  She will need a quiet home and one that will provide her with training and socialization that will help her build confidence when meeting new people.  She is a very sweet dog and once she trusts you she will insist on belly rubs and cuddles.  Because of her nervousness around new people Polly will need to go to a quiet, adult-only home.
