Meet our very own direwolf, Rex!  He is actually not a direwolf, but a big, gentle Golden Retriever mix of some kind who loves loves loves people!  He is estimated to be about 5 years old and currently weighs 69 pounds and needs to put on some weight.  Rex has stories to tell we are sure.  He has old scars on his face but we think that adds to his rugged good looks.  He came from a shelter with ticks and needing a bath which he got when he was healed from his neuter.   He is a healthy boy who cleaned up beautifully and is absolutely stunning!   

Rex walks very nicely on-leash and he does know some commands like sit and he takes treats very gently.  He enjoys meeting people on his walks and has walked with other rescue dogs (see video) with no problems at all.   If you are looking to adopt a pup who is a showstopper when you are out walking him and you are willing to invest time, love, training and patience into this hunk then fill out an application fast!  He jus truly a diamond in the ruff!
