Meet Titan – Your Loyal, Loving Gentle Giant
Looking for a big cuddler with a little bit of sass and a whole lot of heart? Meet Titan, a 3-year-old Golden Retriever mix tipping the scales at 85 pounds of pure devotion. With a unique blend of playful energy and mellow charm, Titan is ready to find his forever home.
Titan has been thriving in a foster home for several months, where he’s shown just how special he is. He loves the great outdoors—whether it's hiking, long walks, or lounging by a pool (yes, he loves swimming!). But after the adventure ends, he’s all about snuggles and quiet time with his people.
He’s very affectionate and enjoys being close, but he’s also okay hanging back and patiently waiting for you to return home. Titan would do best in a calmer home environment, ideally without small children. He thrives on routine, respect, and a bit of personal space now and then.
Titan enjoys the company of larger dogs (with proper introductions), but due to a strong prey drive, he shouldn’t be in a home with cats or small dogs. Squirrels, beware—this boy has some chasing instincts!
This smart pup is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s got a gentle mouth when taking treats or playing tug-of-war, but he prefers not to share his food or toys without permission. Boundaries matter to him, and once you learn his language, you’ll have a best friend for life.
He walks well on a leash (a gentle leader can help with those critter temptations), and he’s a great watchdog—alerting you when someone’s at the door, but happily welcoming guests once you say it’s okay.
Titan loves head and neck scratches but prefers not to be grabbed by the collar suddenly. Respect those simple preferences, and you’ll discover just how mellow, sweet, and loyal he truly is.
Titan is looking for a committed family who will love him for who he is—a goofy, cuddly, protective, big-hearted pup who just wants to belong.
Could that be you?
