‘Tis the season for young Goldens to suffer accidents.

How sad that we have another young girl hit by a car. A shelter begged us to take Savannah ASAP because they could not help her and she was in pain. She had a complete femoral fracture and abrasions on her front legs. An x-ray showed a floating piece of bone, so evident that even that one of our lay volunteers could see it on the x-ray. She obviously needs surgery to repair the leg, and eventually returning to being a playful puppy again. We have a Giving Grid campaign started for Savannah. If you can donate a little, it helps us with our Rescue activities. But more importantly, please share with friends, neighbors, relatives and social media.

Thank you. Savannah will appreciate your concern and generosity.
